What are VDS and VPS servers

VPS/ VDS is simply a virtual server. It is achieved by virtually dividing a server into multiple "small" servers with special programs. Although many small servers are in principle obtained from a single server, different results are obtained when partitioning is done in different ways using different software.

What is VPS (Virtual Private Server)?

VPS is achieved by the software part of the main server. In this virtualization system, all VPSs on that server have to use the operating system installed on the main server, and they are all like small particles running depending on this operating system. Since all processor and ram sharing software are made in this virtualization system, if there is a problem in the server (such as excessive processor or ram usage or attack), all VPS on the server are affected by this problem. The amount of ram allocated to VPSs can be shared between VPSs and the amount of ram not using it can be allocated to someone else. Although all VPSs work separately, they are all part of the same whole. Despite providing high performance throughout the system, it is not possible to perform operations such as kernel updates.

What is VDS (Virtual Private Server)?

VDS is achieved by partitioning the main server hardware. VDSs virtualized in this way become small servers that are completely independent from each other. each may have a different operating system, the resource usage of each is completely independent of each other. The allocated processor and ram are not used by others. Therefore, VDSs do not have to affect each other, an over-resource or hacked VDS will not affect others. The functioning of the physically rented server, kernel update, etc. There is no difference in terms of it, all kinds of operations can be done.
